These Small Christmas Stockings are made on Two Needles and are perfect for relatively inexperienced knitters.

The pattern can be made using 4mm needles, and double knitting (worsted) weight yarn, which makes a stocking that is approximately 2 ½ inches high. Alternatively, by making the pattern using 4 ply yarn and 3.25mm needles, the stockings are approximately 1 ½ inches tall.

Basic Stocking Pattern

The stockings are made knitted from the toe to the cuff in one flat piece and are then sewn along the centre front.
